Bring Rope & Candy to your city
Rope & Candy is an international, invite-only community. Our parties happen city by city, and many of the best ones are hosted by our own members.
If you have been approved and you have a beautiful place, or you know where to find one, you can host a Rope & Candy party where you live.
What you get from us
- The brand. Your party is a Rope & Candy party, with the name, the look and the reputation that come with it.
- The guests. We open our list of approved applicants in your city to you. Every one of them was chosen by hand, with recent photos, by our selection committee.
- The method. We hand you the rules of the night, the invitation and confirmation steps, the dress code, the timing and the host's checklist we have refined since 2010.
What you bring
- The place. Your own home, or a private venue whose owner allows events. Short-term rental platforms usually forbid parties, so please do not book one for this.
- The evening. You welcome the guests, keep the night elegant and make every guest feel safe.
- A share back. Hosts give a share of each party back to Rope & Candy. That keeps the selection committee, the guest list and the brand running for every city. We agree the details with you before your first party.
How to become a host
- Apply as a guest first. Use the application form and answer “Yes” to the question about organizing a party. Tell us about the place.
- We talk. Once your application is approved, we contact you to talk about your city, your venue and your guests.
- Your first party. We plan it with you and help you choose the guests from the approved list.
- Your own series. Hosts whose parties go well can run regular Rope & Candy nights in their city.
Single men cannot attend as guests, but a single man with a great home or venue in a major city can apply to host. Choose “A single man who wants to host” on the form.
